Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of My Mindset Practice , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for My Mindset Practice:
- Digital programme activities: Some of the more complex interactive digital activities may not function entirely with assistive technologies intended to aid with navigation. We are actively looking at alternative ways of presenting these activities to allow all of our visitors to access them fully. Please use our 'accessibility feedback form' to report any issues you encounter.
- Colour contrast issues: There are a few isolated colour contrast issues remaining. Our original designs were not produced to a high enough level of contrast. We are working through the legacy designs and assets and updating them as we encounter them. Please use the high contrast options in the accessibility widget if you have difficulty as a result of the colour contrast.
- Alt text attributes: Some isolated assets may still be missing alternative text descriptions. Some markup containing image elements is stored in the database, making it more time-consuming to audit and locate. We are reviewing all image assets within the platform to identify any remaining omissions. Please use our 'accessibility feedback form' to report any images with missing alt text.
- Generated PDF's: PDF's generated by the system are not accessible because Creating accessible PDF's is a complex task. We have plans to redevelop the system that generates our PDF's. During this project, the creation of accessible versions of these files will be prioritised. Please use the browser-based version of the content along with assistive technologies which should allow access to the content.
- Digital programme module navigation: Navigation within modules may be difficult at times. We are working to simplify the module navigation to make it more sequential and easier to navigate with keyboard or voice controls. Please contact us if any parts of the module navigation are impossible to navigate with details of your assistive technology and configuration.
